The Process

Your custom butter dish will be made to order from scratch (wheelthrown, trimming, making and attaching handle, drying out for a week or two, first firing, glazing, second firing, off in the post to you!) so the process takes about 3 weeks.

I’ll keep you informed at each stage!

ps. this is an entirely handmade product so will be one-of-a-kind, exclusively and uniquely yours. Part of the beauty of a handmade dish is that it will not be factory perfect (maybe not a perfect circle, or perfectly symmetrical, maybe a bit of a warp or the glaze might not turn out to be an exact match) but I’ll try my best to make something you want and adore!
