Where possible, in-stock items will be posted within 24 hours (except Sundays) using Evri or Royal Mail's Next Day Delivery 24 hour service. Pottery pieces purchased in the weekly restocks will be posted using Royal Mail's 48 hour tracked service.
When will my custom order arrive?
Custom “build your own” orders will take about 3 weeks (because the process has many parts which take a while to complete: prepping the clay, throwing/handbuilding the piece, trimming to perfection, drying out for a week or two, the first firing, glazing the piece, the second firing and finally off to its new home 💓). I will post your pottery piece using Royal Mail.
Will you gift wrap and package my piece?
Yes! I will wrap your order beautifully in tissue paper and ribbons and package it with care in a double walled box and cushioning (I reuse/recycle where possible so you might receive your piece packaged in cut up old boxes)

How do I care for my piece?
All my glazes are 'food safe’, microwave and dishwasher safe (that said, if you can be bothered it's better to handwash as high temperatures and chemicals can weaken your pottery over time).
On the other hand, I've been dishwasher-ing my pieces every day for years with no problems.
Will my custom order be made to my exact specifications?
Yes/ sort-of!
Yes, I will follow your design specifications and aim to bring your vision to life and create something you will adore
However, everything I make is by hand on the pottery wheel so your piece will be unique, one-of-a-kind and may vary slightly in size, shape and finish
Your pottery piece is not made in a factory so there may be a warp here, a superficial crack there or an odd glaze spot
What is your returns policy?
If you are not happy with your order or it is damaged on arrival, please contact me straight away at nea@ceramicsbynea.com for a full refund or a replacement
Custom “build your own” orders are non-returnable unless there is an issue with the piece. This is because the pieces are tailored to your design and cannot be sold again
